What were you doing before Dexters and how did you join us?
After school I decided not to go to college or University and instead get into work straight away. I joined a small independent Estate Agent and worked in their Sales team for just under two years. My Director there knew somebody who worked at Dexters and recommended me as he believed I had the potential to outgrow them! I had an interview and here I am now.
Where did you start and where are you now?
I am very proud of what I have achieved in my career so far with Dexters. I started as a Trainee Sales Consultant in 2020 and I’ve since progressed and worked my way up to Sales Manager. I was promoted in 2021, so I’ve got to where I am in just over two years.
What is your favourite thing about your role?
My favourite thing about my role is meeting new people every day. Taking properties on and being a part of such an important stage in someone's life is very rewarding.
What advice would you give to somebody looking to get into the industry?
I would always say don’t let anyone tell you can’t do something. If you work hard and put your mind to it, you can achieve anything.

You are in charge of your earnings. If you put the work in, it will pay off.
