Lower Sunbury is a pretty riverside village in leafy Surrey, just a short boat ride from Hampton, Kingston and Richmond and with direct train links into London. It's lively here, with good local shops and several busy restaurants, and the pubs on the river are great for a lazy Sunday lunch watching a Regatta or Duck Race. The Thames Towpath and Walled Gardens have nice walks, or you might cycle to nearby Kempton Park to see the racing.
