Victoria Park is one of London's largest parks and has undergone a £12 million refurbishment project. Known locally as 'Vicky Park,' which refers to the park and surrounding area, it is popular with young professionals and families thanks to events such as open-air music festivals and concerts. The park itself has wild and open areas, as well as two children's playgrounds, two cafes, a lake and an outdoor activities centre. Next to the park you'll find Victoria Park Village, which is a leafy hidden secret with one-off shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants that provide a real community feel. A lot of young couples and families live in the area's large Victorian houses that are in the catchment area for highly sought-after schools.
