Market update
The number of buyers and tenants looking to move through us has grown significantly over the summer and into the autumn and we now have over 100,000 people registered looking for a London home. It’s been a very busy period, with us arranging 9,000 viewings a week across the capital and we expect this demand to continue into the new year.
We work hard for our clients, combining a network of offices with intimate local knowledge and unmatched marketing strength. Having an entire team dedicated to selling or letting your property is invaluable, with 150-200 hours of work going in to each successful transaction. We are fully focused on finding the very best buyer or tenant and achieving the best possible price.
The internet has not replaced the importance of human contact in property transactions. We calculate that just three out of every 20 viewings come from the internet, we generate the remainder from our own database. It’s very rare for someone to buy the property they first enquire about, so by talking to them we can suggest other suitable options, including those properties we have available ‘off market’. It’s worth noting that over the last 12 months two thirds of the properties we have sold were to buyers already registered with us, this means there is every chance we already know the ideal person for your property.
Dexters is particularly active in Prime Central London, having 12 offices strategically located in all the most desirable central locations including Knightsbridge, Kensington, Notting Hill, Marylebone and Westminster. With the business continuing to grow, Dexters recently opened a new office in Chelsea on Sloane Avenue. Marketing is co-ordinated through our Mayfair showroom on Grosvenor Street, which is our shop window to the world. This office is also home to our Corporate Lettings and International Relocation team who handle a continual stream of enquiries from blue-chip companies, embassies and overseas investors.
