The only neighbourhood in London famed for a polite duffle coat-wearing Peruvian bear and where Prince William and Prince Harry were born. Paddington is an area of West London nestled between two Royal Parks, Notting Hill and the West End. Its transport links are superb, including a mainline station with connections to Heathrow, multiple underground lines and, eventually, the new Elizabeth Line, all of which connect it to all parts of the capital. Paddington is more than just a transport hub however; tucked away around the back of the station you can find grand stucco fronted houses (many of which are listed), pretty garden squares, independent cafes and the Grand Union Canal. To top it all off, you're just a short stroll away from Hyde Park.
