Marketing London’s finest homes

With over 15 years of experience, Alysha oversees the marketing for Dexters, ensuring each home is presented at its very best across all platforms. In traditional print and on digital and social media, homes are showcased to millions of people worldwide.

Who are your clients in prime central London?

We work together with all our clients to create a bespoke marketing plan that matches their property requirements. In prime central London, we are handling homes in the capital's most exclusive addresses; often on behalf of high-net-worth individuals and families who can expect to receive a tailored and discreet service. Some clients request our confidential “off-market” strategy and with over 200,000 people registered with us, many of whom exclusively search through Dexters, means it’s highly likely we’re already in touch with your next buyer or tenant.

How do you support the local Dexters offices?

Ensuring every detail looks perfect is my top priority. From our in-house team of professional photographers capturing the very best images, to our designers creating brochures and advertisements, and our online experts providing seamless digital support - every detail matters. Together, we make sure every property is showcased at its absolute best, supporting our sales and lettings teams to achieve exceptional results.

What is the secret to Dexters’ success?

The powerful combination of local knowledge and personal service, supported by strategic marketing, is a winning formula for our sellers and landlords. Our experts spend their time on the phone, sharing property details with customers here and abroad, generating interest and viewings. Online advertising alone rarely drives results. Our data shows that 17 out of every 20 viewings come from our teams’ hard work. Buyers and tenants rely on our expert guidance, but it's our hands-on approach that consistently delivers for our clients. Word of mouth is our most important form of advertising, and we come highly recommended with over 90,000 Google reviews with an average rating of 4.9 out of 5 stars.

How do you work with the world’s press to promote your properties?

Our print advertising is unmatched; each week we appear in the London Standard and the Financial Times, which has a global circulation of over 250,000. Add to this a selection of monthly glossy magazines, local newspapers, the premium bespoke marketing materials that we curate, plus Dexters’ own magazine, which is printed and distributed to 150,000 prime addresses across the capital and read by over a million online. This is reinforced by the work of Dexters' in-house Press Office, who handle the insatiable demand from national and international publications hungry to feature London property. We are in regular contact with journalists and editors wanting to feature only the city’s finest homes in newspapers and luxury publications. This additional coverage can turbo-charge the marketing of their property. Some highprofile clients are happy to use their name to assist in promotion, but others want complete confidentiality.

A personal favourite is the Grade II Listed Mayfair mansion on Charles Street. Built in 1753, this former royal residence was home to William IV and is currently on the market with Wetherell and has an asking price of £25,000 per week. This home has already received huge interest from the world’s press with mentions in over 10 publications, notably Mansion Global, Country & Townhouse and Harper’s Bazaar, plus an array of international coverage.
