Known for its sought after squares, elegant buildings and cultural heritage, this prominent location remains one of the capital’s most desirable places to live and work. With more than a decade of experience between them, local experts Olivia and Brandon offer insights into selling and letting London’s finest properties.
What’s the market like at the moment?
Olivia: It’s extremely busy! Demand to live here continues to grow, and we are achieving incredible results for our sellers and landlords. Dexters carries out 50,000 viewing appointments every month, which equates to a viewing every 15 seconds during our working week, so if you're thinking of moving, now is a great time to put your property on the market.

Why is this area so appealing to buyers and tenants?
Brandon: You have everything on your doorstep, from world-class restaurants and shops to theatres and excellent transport links. Many are drawn to the variety of property styles here, they range from Victorian houses with charming period features to new build apartments with 24-hour concierge services and smart technology, so there really is something to suit everyone.
What advice would you give sellers and landlords?
Olivia: For sellers, it's important to be prepared - instruct your solicitor in the early stages and choose an agent you trust. Dexters offer the reassurance of working with qualified experts as we are regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and uphold their reputation for integrity and professionalism.
Brandon: Presentation is key to standing out in a competitive market when selling or letting. We advise clients to ensure their properties are beautifully presented to attract the best buyers and tenants. With more than 80 offices across the capital, we have access to over 200,000 registered people looking for their next home.
What do your clients enjoy most about working with Dexters?
Olivia: Our property management service is highly rated, and many landlords appreciate the fact that their personal Property Manager is never more than 15 minutes away from any property in their portfolio. They are able to act quickly, with minimal disruption and expenditure, should an issue arise because for us, nothing is too much trouble.
Brandon: Our clients value our extensive local knowledge and excellent customer service, we take pride in what we do, always going the extra mile to deliver a first-class experience. Word of mouth recommendation is our most important form of advertising and we come highly recommended. Don’t just take our word for it, we’ve received over 90,000 Google reviews from happy clients and customers with an average rating of 4.9 out of 5 stars.
What has been your most recent success?
Olivia: Dexters manage an entire development of 40 properties overlooking Trafalgar Square, which have been extremely popular with our tenants, with apartments receiving multiple competitive offers.
Brandon: We also recently let the former private dining room above the Adelphi Theatre for £3,500 per week. It’s an exceptional property with a rich and well-documented history, having inspired the interior designer of the Titanic to create a larger replica for the ship’s first-class dining room.
You know you’re in the West End when…?
Olivia: Classic London architecture sits alongside famous theatres and well-known cultural landmarks such as Trafalgar and Leicester Square.
Brandon: You're walking through Theatreland on the way back to the office and bump into one of our local landlords seeking advice on the interior design of their rental investment.
