Can you tell us why you have been so busy this past year?

As London reopened, so did the floodgates of the wealthy elite looking to live in the most luxurious postcodes. The demand for space put freehold properties at a premium and record prices have been achieved right across the key prime areas. It is globally recognised that the UK economy is a safe investment and its top rated educational institutions will always be a major draw for the international market looking to invest, so we expect this level of growth to continue.

What does your role involve?

I am responsible for actively supporting my fellow prime central London Directors through networking and maintaining relationships with our extensive client base in the UK and worldwide. We support the entire lifecycle of our client’s property journey whether they are selling, letting, purchasing, or requiring their portfolios to be managed through our prime property management team based in our Mayfair showroom.

Do some clients want you to be discreet?

Yes, many of our clients choose our confidential “off-market” service where we can only deal with named buyers and tenants. With over 160,000 people looking through us for a London home, we get great results by making properties “quietly available”.

What have been your recent successes?

A personal favourite is the magnificent Georgian mansion on Hill Street, home to the Royal Naval Club. This extremely rare property was marketed by Mayfair’s leading agent Wetherell, whom we share an exclusive partnership with. Listed at £35m, the property received huge global interest with press mentions in over 30 publications.

Where are Dexters' prime central London offices?

We have 12 strategically placed offices in the most desirable locations including Mayfair, Marylebone, Kensington, Chelsea, and Fitzrovia to name a few. We are well-positioned to meet the needs of our clients, enabling us to offer a fantastic selection with over 1,000 properties available to buy and rent across prime London.

Who are the typical clients in prime central London?

We work with high and ultra-high net worth individuals and families. Our Corporate Lettings and International Relocation team are based on Grosvenor Street and receive over 10,000 enquiries annually from global blue-chip companies and international investors.

How do you market your high end properties?

Dexters showcases property to millions of people on a global platform, so it is important that we work with the world’s press to promote our client’s properties. We do this through Dexters' in-house Press Office who are in daily contact with journalists and editors, handling the insatiable demand from newspapers and magazines wanting to feature only the best London property. Our media resources further extend to weekly features in the Financial Times as well as the London Evening Standard, all in addition to the premium bespoke marketing material carefully curated for each property.
