For a relaxed breakfast or lunch, Shannon suggests The Pear Tree, “This Australian-inspired neighbourhood restaurant on Greenland Place is a personal favourite.” There are riverside pubs for drinks with friends, such as the historic Mayflower in Rotherhithe Village. If you are near Deal Porter Square, Canada Water Market is open every Sunday with independent stalls and street food for lunch on the go.
