I recently joined Dexters, after being on maternity leave for 6 months. Prior to that I had worked for a big local agent.  I was delighted to be offered a position within Dexters as I have a number of friends that work for the company and thoroughly enjoy themselves. I have been made to feel most welcome by the team in Teddington and I wish I had come to Dexters many years ago.

In July 2007, I decided to join Dexters, because of the awesome board presence they had in my area. I was in the roofing industry, but had always wanted to get into estate agency.  Once I got my driving licence, I applied to a number of agencies and soon realised that Dexters would give me the best training in the business. The training I have been given has been is second to none and I know I I am going to have a long, successful career here.

After leaving university, I wanted a career in a company that rewarded hard work and commitment. Dexters was the obvious choice, because along with great career opportunities and earning potential, there’s a real family atmosphere. From the top down, everybody is part of the same team. My day to day duties are varied and challenging, but the job satisfaction I take home after a day’s work is priceless.

My advice to others thinking of joining the company? If you have ambition and drive and like to be stretched, then Dexters will provide you with a comprehensive training environment and a dedicated support network to help you get where you want to go in the company.

I joined Dexters because I was keen to follow a new career path (I had been working as a nanny).  Working in the Hampton Hill Lettings Administration  Department is very different to anything I have done before!  Dexters is a very family orientated, cosy company and it is lovely to be part of a company that places so much value on its employees!!!

Dexters now covers a very large area but has maintained its' presence as a local high street Estate Agent in each area, which I believe people have come to trust.

I enjoy the pace and variety of the job and although found it somewhat daunting at first, am really pleased to be part of the Dexters Thamesview group. Thanks for taking a chance on a complete novice to the business!
